Before and After

The Problem

The front yard was overgrown with weeds and dry, wheat-like grass and lacked a defined walkway, making the entrance feel uninviting and disconnected. The property had minimal privacy from neighboring homes and very little color or visual interest in both the front and backyard. There was also no clear connection between the front of the home and the back patio, limiting the functionality and flow of the outdoor space.

The Solution

We removed all weeds and overgrowth and introduced new plantings throughout the front and back yards to refresh the landscape. A decorative bluestone walkway was installed through the lawn, creating a defined path that connects the front entrance to the back patio. Along the pathway, we added screening and strategically placed trees to create privacy from neighboring properties while maintaining a natural, elegant appearance. Where changes in grade were required, we constructed a custom retaining wall to add structure and balance. To enhance color and visual interest, we added a small garden and new plantings, particularly along the back fence. A new fence was installed in the backyard to further define the space and increase privacy.

The Outcome

The property now features a welcoming front entrance, a functional stone walkway, and a cohesive outdoor environment that flows seamlessly from front to back. Added greenery, color, and privacy elements transformed the landscape into a polished, inviting space with improved usability and curb appeal.
